Give
Dues cover a little over half of what this congregation costs to run. Everything else is given.
Test mode. Payments go to a test account. No real money moves.
Test payment form. On the live site, card and FPS fields appear here.
Card and bank details go straight to our payment processor, never to this website.
The UJC employs a rabbi, a cantor, and office staff; runs a religious school; and holds space in Mid-Levels. Membership dues cover somewhat more than half of that. The rest comes from the congregation choosing, every year, to keep it going.
Where it goes
The annual appeal supports general operations — clergy, staff, programmes, the building.
Shorashim funding keeps tuition below cost and pays for materials, so that no family is priced out of a Jewish education.
Festival and life-cycle sponsorship underwrites kiddush, festival meals, and the flowers and food that make a service feel like an occasion.
Tikkun Olam gifts go straight out again, to the charities and families the congregation supports in Hong Kong.
If your gift is for one of these, or in memory or in honour of someone, say so in the note and the office will make sure it is acknowledged properly.
